5/2 POSC Meeting Notes (Rev C)

Andy and Robin will be leading us through this chapter, we're finding out if we wear emotional masks.

5/21, Sunday (Outside Service, Sneaker Sunday)- let's REALLY dress in our shirts for this one. Someone want to volunteer to send out a reminder? Also, Julia is asking for help with clean-up afterwards- please contact her if you're available.

5/23, Tuesday (Meeting)- let's do the dinner stuff on our own this time around if that's okay with everyone? Notice we're not meeting on 5/16, we've moved it back to 5/23. June meetings will continue to be the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays and for July we're going to skip our 1st Tuesday meeting (due to the July 4th Holiday).

5/27, Saturday (the Horse Races May 27th)- details coming, this will be an afternoon/no kid thing. We'll meet at Kristy and Mike's for cake and then head out.

6/24, Saturday (Robin and Andy's Baby Shower)- we're having it at Becky and Chris'. We're also making this one a no kids thing. For fun, the theme will be a Luau and while no one HAS to dress up, if you don't the rest of us will be bitter and mean-spirited towards you if you don't. I mean, it would be awesome if everyone did (bright colors, flowers in your hair, etc). We've already got alot of the decorating portion worked out. I looked through my decorations and I have less than I thought but enough- if you find some items while you're out and about- it would be great to pick up a few things here and there for final touches. We'll figure out what everyone's going to bring food-wise at the June 20th meeting. I've got dinner plates, cake plates, napkins, flatware (except forks), and lays (sp?) already, as well as some flamingos, a center piece or two, etc etc.

8/6, Saturday (Jack's Bday)- we'll be bowling. I'm thinkin' we'll meet at our house for cake and stuff and then we'll caravan to the bowling alley. I may get one lil' tike lane, 1 lane for the older kids, and one lane for the oldest kids (IE: the guys). More details to come.

8/11 & 8/12, (Promise Keepers)- Mike, Todd and I think John are all on board so far- guys this is a great opportunity.

Other activities coming up... we were talkin' about a Rangers Game and Campin' is still an option. Continue to pray for the pregnancies, the adoptions, and for God's continual presence in our families, our group, our church, our world.
