4/18 POSC Meeting Notes (Rev A)
4/29, Saturday (Help Me Project 2pm)- we're moving Andy, Robin, and Andrew back to Arlington. We'll need as many able bodies/pick-up trucks/large vehicles as possible to move everything. Chris volunteered to help me watch kiddos so hopefully everyone else will be up for the move. I believe everyone is dropping off the kiddos at the Kristy and Mike's beforehand at 2pm. Mike's trying to line-up a trailer we can use and we'll have the Excursion. I believe the Chris has a truck and so does Andy so we may be in a good place logistics-wise.
4/30, Sunday (the Shrimp Boil 5pm)- if you're going it might be fun to wear your POSC t-shirt (I think we're wearing ours to Church).
5/2, Tuesday (Meeting)- I'm sort-of on a healthy kick right now so we're opting out of the pizza thing this time around and I get the feeling its losing steam anyway on this so let's do the dinner stuff on our own this time around if that's okay with everyone?
5/6, Saturday (Angie & Roy's Baby Shower)- we're having it at Art and Sunny's that evening. It's a no kids thing but it is for couples. The date/times have shifted a bit but the final outcome: its at 7pm on 5/6. There is a spaghetti dinner at church earlier that evening so we may have a few late comers for those attending this activity but keeping the date and changing the time made the most sense for the largest number of people. We're being asked to contribute snackies (since its past dinner time) so get with SunnyMcFunnyBunny about your ideas to ensure we don't have 5 sets of chips and salsa.
5/27, Saturday (the Horse Races May 27th)- details coming, this will be an afternoon/no kid thing.
6/24, Saturday (Robin and Andy's Baby Shower)- we're having it at Becky and Chris'. More details to come, we do know we're also making this one a no kids thing and we're plannin' on focusing around FOOD- cookin' up some yummy stuff. For fun, the theme will be a Luau and while no HAS to dress up, if you don't the rest of us will be bitter and mean-spirited towards you if you don't. I mean, it would be awesome if everyone dressed up (bright colors, flowers in your hair (and I don't just mean you Todd), etc. You can have as much fun as you'd like with it- we've already got alot of the decorating portion worked out.
8/11 & 8/12, (Promise Keepers)
Other activities coming up...
We were also talkin' about a Rangers Game and Campin' is still an option.
Continue to pray for the pregnancies, the adoptions, and for God's continual presence in our families, our group, our church, our world.
